Room next to busy road and was noisy. Food was awful and over priced
Wow, amazing how quickly this hotel has gone down hill. A year ago, the staff were friendly and efficient now it's like an episode from the walking dead! The food is SLOW and not very good when it does finally arrive. Rooms on a certain floor stink and the staff just don't seem to care. Do yourself a favour and choose somewhere else!
Looks a little dated inside, but really clean. Parking on site is 10, do bear that in mind when booking. Its literally across the road from the Oracle so, lots to do without the inconvenience of a long comminute. Generally from here, most of Reading town centre is accessible on foot, be it for a meal, or a night out
I've stayed in numerous hotels in Reading on business. This has been the best. Room is clean and functional, nice desk and lighting. Breakfast is well worth it. Staff is very friendly. Only downside is wifi is not that fast. One minute walk across the street and you're at the Oracle shopping center. A great value for your money. Most English hotels have poor service or poor technology.
