Had a Wowcher voucher for use of Revive leisure facilities and coffee and danish with a friend.The receptionist at Revive was very friendly and efficient and took us through for Starbucks coffee and chocolate croissants.Leisure facilities excellent - had a lovely relaxing time!!
Rooms are very small. Booked a room through a third party site expecting to have a river-view room. That did not actually happen. The reception said that it was not the hotel's fault giving you a room facing an ugly back view. Instead it was convient for them to hang it up on the third party. The heater did not work. So the manager was helpful and provided a portable one. Mind you February is really a cold month in the UK.The television is really small. Similar to a computer screen. Looks like a ten year old set.I was given a small room with two single beds. So small that the space between the two is less than 10 inches (25 cm). If you are a large person, this place is going to be a bit cramped to move about.
I love this hotel! The pool was closed for maintenance when we went there but the steaming room and sauna did a great job! The gym is also very nice and you have all of the main equipment. The breakfast buffet is great and the restaurant has an amazing menu. The food was beyond delicious and the staff were so nice and friendly! Superb experience!
Our overall experience should have been better. It is generally clean and there is an emphasis on good hospitality in reception area promises much. There's plenty of parking in the hotel's own secure area. The pool was shut during our stay but the Revive Spa looks good. The evening meal we had was good, actually, but our room and breakfast experience fell short of satisfactory.
Absolutely stunning hotel and amazing location. The staff are super sweet and even wrote me a welcome message on the mirror! They were all so understanding and helpful. I enjoyed every moment of being at this hotel and can not wait until I have a reason to return to it! The rooms are so nice and cosy! They food is tasty and didnt let me down at all.
