The reception staff was nice and polite however the nurses and doctors are far from polite and professional. It feels like they treat the work in the Centre as a punishment! Not the greatest experience.
Excellent professional service in a spotless office. A bit of a wait is to be expected. At zero cost for treatment even if youre just visiting from overseas.
Same difficulties are the NHS in general: stretched staff, long queues, long wait for an appointment... Typically it's 2 weeks+ to get an appointment. Walk-in wait time varies from day to day. At one point it could be only 45 minutes but it may jump to 4 hours without notice.I always managed to talk to the right people and get my issues addressed effectively.Despite few cases of frustration, I still leave 5 stars because they do the job.
I am absolutely disgusted at the poor care, or the lack of, I have received so far by the doctors at the walk in centre. I understand they're spread thin and overworked, but at the end of the day it's people's lives and health they're dealing with. No concern, no attentiveness whatsoever. Glossing over people's health concerns and telling them to take paracetamol for any pain they may have without proper examination is appalling and dangerous to say the least.
Went last weekend with my 5 months pregnant friend when she became unwell suddenly. The receptionist, nurse and doctor who saw her were all excellent - caring, patient and efficient. The receptionist was helpful in contacting the hospital to check if my friend needed to go there, and the nurse was reassuring and took care to explain everything to my friend.
