For the past two appointments Ive had, Ive tried to call in advance to query the time or let them know Id be slightly late. NO ONE answered the phone for over 15 minutes! Even then, they didnt answer, I just arrived in person so I could hang up the phone! I decided to call whilst I was sat in there this time around, and there was no one at the counter waiting to be served so the receptionists werent busy. They sat and ignored the phone call. The new young one especially, as she tried to use the excuse of we were busy when I asked last time why no one had answered the phone for over 15 minutes. Absolutely ridiculous, and I can see no good reason why they shouldnt be able to answer the phone for THAT long.
Really bad experience today, the gp who shall not be names has the people skills of a rock, disinterested and has no business being a doctor. I feel upset and angry and coming away from my appointment I feel in shock. The reception staff are usually good, but the gp leaves a lot to be desired.
My husband and myself have had so much and kindness from all the doctors and nurses .and even the reception staff have been outstanding .
