Very caring vet. Tried the best for our guinea pig, but had to be put to sleep. Then we received a nice thinking of you card from all the vets in the practice. A nice little touch.

Good service my cat loves going

Brilliant vets. The staff really care for my pets and always go above and beyond. 10/10 wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.

I took my guinea pig here when he was ill and I was told he had to be put to sleep, I wasn't even told why or what was wrong with him but I assumed they knew best. I was told I had to sign an agreement to say he would have gas and air first as apparently this makes the injection less unpleasant (more costly of course) . . . But . . . I was then told I couldn't stay with him when this happened (as I had with previous pets at different surgeries) so I said my goodbye and then watched in horror as the vet who had a handful of paperwork and a pen, scooped up and gripped my guinea pig with two fingers and carried him out dangling under the peices of paper as if he were already dead! I was shocked and disgusted and I really do wonder with such little consideration and care for my guinea pig if he actually did give him the gentle send off I paid for with gas and air to calm him before the injection and if he did . . Why couldn't I stay with him???

Avoid at all costs! The worst vet experience I have had. After moving to the area, this practice seems to offer good value for money and was convenient so I subscribed to the VIP package. I took my dog for a simple dental procedure and, following blood tests, was advised that she needed to be kept in on a drip for 3 days before they could carry out the dental (I was issued with a claim form for my insurance company). After seeking a second opinion, I arranged to collect her and the "vet" managed to slice her leg open with scissors whilst removing the drip. This resulted in 10 staples, considerable pain for my hound and a lengthy recovery. I was charged nearly 400 for the privelige. I manage to negotiate a refund for some of the fee but was required to sign a disclaimer saying I would not take further action. She has since had the dental at a decent practice with no problems and at a lower cost than quoted by this vet. However, because her leg was stapled without shaving the area first, the wound did not heal neatly and she still has a noticeable scar. I would not trust him with a goldfish.
