Shinfield vets have always been really caring and compassionate to my 2 cats and house rabbit. My elderly cat has needed ongoing treatment and the staff have always been fabulous. Every procedure is explained in great detail and only necessary treatment is undertaken, so no unneccessary rip off charges. A huge thank you to all the practice staff from my family.
I was very impressed at the caring attitude here when I took a lost kitten there today. They lent me a cat basket to bring the cat, took her in for the night and followed up on the chip etc. Well done guys it's nice to see.
The worst experience Ive ever had at any veterinary! And having been going to vets for 30 odd years so thats how strongly I feel I have to share this with you all.Having booked one of my 3 cats in for a routine check up and booster I arrived 5mins early, my appointment was for 6.30. At 6.55 no one had looked in my direction and when I made inquiries the reception was unlike anything Ive ever experienced! Just disgusting and well out of order.So after 45 minutes I walked out with a very stressed out family pet!I will NEVER GO BACK!!!Please look at other vets in the area! They must be better than this place...I dont think animal welfare is much of a concern for these people!
The lovely people of Shinfield Vets took care of our Baster and his special needs.Both Jess and Leo were extremely polite and exceeded any expectations in terms of helpfulness and professionalism on the phone and took their time to explain the available options as well as the costs.The two ladies who came to see him invested their time in making the dog feel comfortable prior to the examination and gave him a thorough MOT - definitely giving the impression of people who really care about the animals.As for the cost - given the high quality of service the 'You can't have your cake and eat it' springs to mind. Worth getting insurance.Highly recommended.
I have been using Shinfield vet's for my two dogs for the last 3 years and never previously had any problems. Today at a routine booster check up I was greeted at reception by Leo I found her to be very abrupt and rather up herself. when I was asking a few questions when leaving i found her to be very rude and like she really didn't care very much. Such a shame as I have never had issues before but this has made me really not want to use them again so bad that one person has made it such a bad experience. Zero customer service skills.
