A fascinating little museum containing an extensive collection of rural tools and artefacts. We only had a couple of hours available on this visit, so there were lots we didnt get to see especially the detailed collections in the cabinets on the upper story. Well definitely pay another visit before too long.
I was very impressed with this museum. It is very friendly with children and has a great collection. The whole premises are lovely for spending the day.
This place is great for families (every two Sundays arts & crafts events for children, for a 2 charge/child; toys and interactive games around the Museum; great outdoor garden & games), and adults (great garden & shop available on site). The Museum hosts several events across the year, some adults orientated, others for a wider public, but always brilliantly organised, so it is worth keeping an eye on the events calendar.
Interesting collection of farm equipment and history of rural life. Free to enter though they recommend a donation.
What an amazing collection. They preserved a huge amount of objects and equipment used back in time in rural life. Very interesting.
