Not great staff can be rude and inappropriate-i have been locked in by cleaners, falsely accused of sexual and Job harassment, really strange as I just want to work out so have vowed never to do business with these people again. Real shame as the gym itself is actually quite good.
Excellent location, Classes are great and staff are really friendly and motivational...Tom Callum and Scott are brilliant and a great assest to the The Gym group.... would highly recommend!!
Great facilities considering the space restrictions in the town centre. Love the evening classes. Good interaction from PT's instructing the classes, encouraging members to book again and push themselves to improve.
Good gym with good equipment. However, it could get packed so you would often have to stand around waiting on equipment. The membership system was novel. Toy sign up and get a pin that lets you in. Unfortunately, these pin only worked for me once time. So, I head to use the call button to get someone to let me in. And I'd they were inclined to ignore the call, toy could be waiting for a while, which did happen, and is a pain in the @$$. Overall, when traveling and you need a decent place to work out that is relatively inexpensive, this is a good choice.
Beware !! ..you will join this gym thinking you have flexibility to terminate membership anytime without any contract. By the way, there is no online cancellation facility for the membership. I called on their phone number 10 months ago, spoke with their operator and asked to cancel membership. Operator confirmed that the membership is cancelled. Then I joined another gym nearby. 10 months later I noticed this gym is still debiting my bank account. Contacted customer care by email, told them what happened and asked for refund. Told them to trace the call recording specifying the time span in which call was made. They replied saying there is no recording of the call but now we are confirming cancellation so that no further payments will be debited. They did not refund my money saying they can't refund beacause different people have different frequency of using the gym. Apparently my frequency is just once in a year and I don't mind paying full yearly fee for that single visit ! . These people are complete liars. Make sure you ask for cancellation proof , email etc after cancellation .
