Nice and friendly staff, got most equipment, however a bit dirty and the music is way too loud sometimes. Give people the opportunity to listen to their own music on their head phones as people arent always interested in whats being played from the speakers! :-)

I was part of this gym for nearly two years. Make the most of the free classes that are offered to you as a member and with no plans you can sign up for a month and leave if you really want to. Once you've seen the equipment available and had a complementary class with a welcoming personal trainer you'll want to stay. It can be very busy at times but your online login gives you data around this so you can try to plan around peak times if you wish. Online system tells you how long you've been in the gym with the date and time which can help you keep on top of your training plan. You can often get times with free admission fee, especially if you show interest.
As far as the 24 hour gyms in Reading go, this is probably the best one. Lots of squat racks, but the I have never seen the weights organized, ever. I understand the users should take the blame, but if I'm alone there at 1 am, the weights are everywhere. The facility is clean and most workouts can be accomplished here. Not really any space to do farmers walks etc. Overall a decent place to get a workout in.
Membership fee is very reasonably - 20 pounds a month and changes are they will waive the admin fee. Lots of machines and free weights. Separate cardio section. Offer many classes and you can sign to for almost all with your basic membership. Plenty of lockers another. Pool only available in some locations
