With reference to yesterday's funeral of our friend Robert Stoddart at the crematorium Henley Rd. My main comment - also noted by several others in the congregation - was the inability to hear almost anything said by Jill Harbridge - the conducting celebrant. It is no criticism of the lady herself - probably a fault of the microphone - although the music was very clear. I felt it inappropriate to comment at the time, but it did detract from the crematorium part of the celebration.Judith MacBeth
