Really slow service and their systems don't link up with 3rd party booking sites. Will avoid in the future
Horrendous customer service. To be clear we had no deductions etc from the car hire so this review is not a disgruntled driver after being charged for damage. We organised the rental for my in-laws over from Oz. Major two complaints are it took an hour to get the car having booked weeks before online and having all relevant documentation with us. We rent cars every year on our summer holidays and it has never taken anywhere near this long. Again to be clear this was an hour when there was no one in front of us in the queue, they were just so slow and then could not find the car (no joke!!)Secondly the lady behind the counter was so rude, very unfriendly and if you hate your job that much leave!!If renting in reading - use Europcar - been told they are much better (including by another customer at thrifty who had a similar experience).
Great cars new and clean to drive
Had a great experience today. Dropped off the car, needed to get the family and all our 7 bags to the station for the train. The staff here (Dennis?) offered to drive us in which was awesome. More than that, he helped take our bags up the flights of stairs - above and beyond in terms of customer service
Need a German whip. You can rent one from here.
