Grungy and eclectic gourmet cafe with good food and drinks. The coffee is delicious (provided that it's not too busy and gets cold) and the food is exactly what you need to work your day up at a good price; as long as you don't mind a little wait. Perfect for a date - good time to get to know each other and get some delicious food after you've had that spark moment. Even after the 20th spark date it's still the same. The timing and (cleanliness) is the only thing that needs to improve.

The service is great as you have smiling waitresses and bartenders, unfortunately as an ex restaurant manager I had an eye on the flow of service and from taking the orders to producing the meals there was an hour wait in between, the food served was definitely not fresh but frozen and should not have taken so long to be made or delivered especially when not so busy, as we came in before peak time. The problem area here I believe is the kitchen, they need training and better expediting in that area so that the food is cooked to standard and bought out in good time, my poached egg was not poached and came out solid and my partners sandwhich came out with items missing and we know the server amended the ticket before it went through to kitchen. I hate being a moan bag but I spend money to eat good food and unfortunately this time round you have lost my custom and as a foodie I will be letting my friends know this is not the place to be on a Friday night.

Great alternative/london style licenced cafe/restaurant. Shabby chic , school hall type feel. Staff friendly and helpful. Menu is varied and a real change from standard chains. Good quality food and well presented . Recommend

Great place with amazing vegan menu. Very friendly staff and nice atmosphere. I'd come every weekend if I could

Unfortunately when I went they managed to lose my ticket and I had to wait around an hour for the food.Usually this would impact my review, however the staff gave a full refund for the meal, and were honest about what had happened and what they were doing. And I appreciated the way that they handled the situation. The milkshake was light and the tasted quite nice. I would definitely recommend it for anyone that visits. I would have liked the garlic bread to be a little more crisper on the outside, however it was still good. The ultimate chicken burger was good as well, it tastes pretty much like it is described as. I would have liked it if the brioche bun was toasted a bit longer and the chicken to have been cooked a bit less as it was a tad too dry. The pink lemonade was also a little too sweet for my tastes. Overall I would definitely recommend it. The staff and laid back atmosphere give this place a nice warm feeling. The food is good, and I would definitely recommend the milkshake.
