Gorgeous gardens in the heart of the centre of Reading. It's well kept by the council so flowers are abundant in spring and summer. Benches scattered along the paths and around the bandstand but plenty of space on the grass. Events often happen so if you're looking for a tranquil spot it's worth checking there aren't any on as it is normally very busy when festivals are visiting.
Scenic, currently beautiful Autumn colour. Plenty to read and enjoy. Peaceful away from the shops!
It's an inner city (actually reading is a town) so you get the usual. People sitting around our walking during nice days. Homeless people sleeping at nights.Since events take place like Reading town meal which is good, but the rest of the time it's just a little green space in a town.To conclude: it's a park.
This is a lovely urban park, within a stone's throw if downtown Reading. The grounds are well maintained and there is excellent summer programming for visitors of all ages, with food trucks and drink vendors a common sight when it's warm out. If you're looking for a calm oasis to get away from the bustle of downtown or you need a place to bring the kids for a few hours, Forbury Gardens is a good destination.
Nice Green Park situated in centre of Business central and Reading centre. Nice place to sit if having your lunch from work if weather is good. Back of town hall and museum. Next to the old Abbey which under renovation. Beauty spot full of Flowers and Color nice place to go for a walk. Connected to Old Reading Abbey. In centre of town
