Having spent a day sanding plaster and dressed like total Hobo's, my beau and I decided that drinking was the best course of action for an unwind. Despite our shabby attire and unwashed look (which, looking back, perfectly reflected the rustic 'garden' design) we found incredibly polite, efficient service, an energetic atmosphere and some delicious cocktails. Perfect unwind complete!
very good service. very good food. very friendly staff. from the moment I walked through their front door I was looked after. oh, and good wine as well. If you are around Reading, this place definitely is worth a visit
We visited the Botanist in Reading for Brunch during a Saturday morning. The "full english breakfast" and the "breakfast burger" was a great selection. The place is nicely decorated with a rustic touch. The staff was smiley and very helpful. I highly recommend the place.
Great atmosphere, & food, cocktails that smoke and steam!!! Awesome. Would be 5 star but a bit pricey. Make sure to book a day or two before.
Great atmosphere, great food. Known for their Hanging Kebabs, really tasty and a unique idea. Amazing drink selection (think craft ales, fancy cocktails with twigs and berries etc...) Staff are friendly and helpful, prices are average for the area and the quality of food is good. Recommend a visit for anyone looking for something a bit different in Reading (or any of their other branches if they are as good!)
