So sad to see how bad it is now since it changed hands recently. The new owner is unpleasant and has zero customer skills. She takes your cups the minute you have finished and says they are running out... it was empty when we arrived today and after her behaviour I am not surprised. We will not be returning.

We had delicious homely well cooked Georgian lunch, staff efficient and friendly. Food came quickly.
Such a lovely bakery with outstanding food and reasonable prices. I just wish the service wasnt so slow every time and the staff were a bit more aware of what is going on
On my birthday I ran around Reading looking for vegan cake but all places were sold out... And then I got to Nomad and there it was. Or more like THEY WERE. They still got 2 cakes and loads of other vegan (and gluten free) treats for me to buy. I got a slice of carrot cake and it was heavenly. The staff were so incredibly nice and I can only tell you that that visit was my first one but definitely not the last! The place is quite small and often full and crowded as everyone loves Nomad Bakery so much but otherwise... A perfect place and their iced teas are wonderful.
