These people can't even be bothered to put on the heating when it's sub-zero outside. Had to watch film in hat and gloves. Good film though ('Destroyer'), but that's hardly the point. The management just don't care.
It's okay but looking a bit tired now - one of the toilets were closed and the one that was open had urinals out of action. We had to buy our tickets from the food / drink counter which meant the queue, although relatively short, took a while. We were well after the advertised time for our film but got to our seats before it started thankfully. Best buy your tickets online beforehand and take your own food and drink. Good value to see a film though. Cinemas can be expensive but we had a family ticket for around 20 which I thought was okay.
It's OK, quite small but ample enough. Seats don't compare to Showcase at Winnersh but very convenient next to all the restaurants in the Oracle. Screen quality and sound provide a good viewing experience.
Screen 1 VIP seats were very comfortable to watch the live broadcast from the Met Opera in New York. Vue even served wine in the two intervals, from a little trolley wheeled into the cinema. White wine is better served colder and I thought it was pricey. But the idea was a good one.
I love how close Reading have their cinema. the staff are nice. never seen or heard any staff being rude or annoyed by serving customers. lots of screens and choices. keep up the good work!!
