Good...

Pretty awful library nice and friendly staff as always but the building does not do justice to the heart of all literature which is books and a library. Just looking on the online archive it has a very poor selection of books, I would have thought even with the councils finite Rescource it would have more books then this. As if my iBooks/Apple Books store wasnt pathetic enough and having to pay ridiculous amounts of money for digital books the library catalogue and archive looks reassuringly sparse. Ending on a positive note, the actually library does seems to stock some great scripture and various texts and media and you could get lost in itliterally no pun intended and become a real book worm ...and get great ideas to what to look for and get into, the resources looked standard. West berkshire libraries have free Ancestry software, this borough library doesnt seem to offer much in the way of that, but has rhyme time though..Saying that it does have internet and printer and photo copy facilities but probably better at the quantum cafe on union street as you can order drinks and food from the screen plus way more and probably cheaper for the experience...Has study rooms and various other paraphernalia but seriously quite a pathetic little library One last good thing to say is that you can search, reserve, pay and manage your library account online, when you consider the world in which we live and that 90% of the world is illiterate and the rest want to charge 20 for a digital ebook or paper back or hundreds for academic books Quid pro quo I think it is reasonable to have this service at our disposal to get around the fact that most people can not afford to read let alone anything else...

Please clean out the front. it smells of urine! West berks libraries much nicer and cleaner

Great place for family research but toilets don't work and the disabled toilets are not fitted with Radar locks Please don't let disabled people suffer more.

Great place to relax with a book or magazine that are pretty well stocked; printing and computer work support is superb. Helpful staff! Love the place.
