Finally Reading has a tearoom Reading has a great selection of independent coffee houses and cafes but none of them serve great tea, so I was really pleased to discover 7 Flowers and tea at the end of 2018. On my first visit they had not been open long but were already serving high quality loose leaf tea in beautiful surroundings. I have visited many times since the New Year and the venue gets prettier every time with stunning flowers, and having worked my way through the tea menu, I can say nothing comes close to this tearoom in the town.

Very unusual place and pretty. Friendly service and its nice to have a pot of tea with flowers as surroundings when its cold outside. Great place, totally worth going.
Don't be fooled by the flowers and greenery! Hidden here are a variety of homemade cakes that we found to be aromatic and flavourful without being too sweet. Available to accompany them are a great selection of teas.
